Our mission is to turn the youth around by providing them a wide variety of exciting activities through the medium of television, the performing arts and media production. We endeavor to use the creative talents of our youth to promote productions that will be both enjoyable and educational.

"The founder, William Pennerman, has demonstrated a passion for educating and challenging the children of San Diego County. I support such local level endeavors, and hope that you will lend your support to the Turn Our Youth Around Program."

TTYA currently works with New Beginnings Productions to coordinate events such as concerts, television programs, youth and growth encounters, as well as  promoting an educational training curriculum which assists students in the areas of computer literacy, science mathematics and language.  We seek to soon "roll-out" more educatioal training videos and materials to assist students in the areas of language and social skills in the coming months.

Stay tuned because you too can Turn the Youth Around!

Turn the Youth Around (TTYA) is an organization dedicated to bringing together  the finest in media production and performance with the current educational systems offered to the youths of our communities. TTYA seeks to accomplish this goal by using the medium of the performing arts, and film or video production to teach students the educational basics, such as mathematics, science, computer literacy, language and social skills while also training them in relevant media production, and performance technologies.  This program allows school age students to both explore, and possibly build upon careers in the performing arts, television production, news reporting, editing, scripting writing, on-air camera performances, as well as an array of other occupational trades, and professions associated with the media production field.  Again, the majority of production projects will be directly devoted to supporting existing educational programs in the fields of mathematics, computer literacy, science, and language.  Remember, one of the primary target audiences of TTYA are “at risk youth”, who without your support wouldn’t have a chance
